About Us
Hi, I'm Shannon. I've always had a deep love for old photographs and footage. There's something about looking at them that feels like stepping into another time entirely.
But there's a more personal reason I started this business. A few years ago, I lost everything. An air conditioner malfunction in my rental house caused mold to destroy my photographs, my children’s artwork, books, tapes, and yearbooks. All of it, gone. Things I can never get back.
That loss changed how I think about physical media. It can be wiped out in an instant, by a flood, a fire, a leak, or just bad luck. You don't always get a warning. I started this business because I don't want anyone else to go through what I went through. Your memories deserve to be protected, and digitizing them is the best way to make sure they're never lost for good.
What sets Digital Memories apart is that this isn't a side project for me. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Mass Media with an emphasis in Video Production. I've spent years working professionally in the industry as a film editor, content coordinator, and quality control for photography, film, 3D, and augmented reality for international stock agencies and professional film companies. I know what high quality looks like, and I bring that same standard to every single order.
